When they set out to honor Queen Elizabeth II, the Herend Manufactory knew from the start that they wanted to include the Queen’s favorite flower which is the lily of the valley. However, the pattern needed to be something unique befitting the woman it was meant to celebrate. Yes, our trays are not historic, but the story of the Sandwich is.  The sandwich has come a long way from a hunk of beef and cheese between bread.
